Welcome to our site
We are a 'results' driven Firm of Solicitors, being focused in achieving the best outcome for Clients.
We are based in the North West of England, Preston and Blackburn area and we act for Clients from all parts of UK, although we have acted for Clients from Canada and Australia.
We pride ourselves in putting the needs of our Clients at the forefront and providing them with a cost effective, professional service. John Eastham has a background in assisting the management of a successful, long standing family Construction Company, with practical experience of most commercial matters with a specialisation of Construction, as well as Employment and Personal Injury.
We are only too aware of the cash flow difficulties that arise when a third party simply refuses to pay for goods of services provided.
As a result, wherever possible we like to work on a proactive basis, in either assisting Clients on the formation of contract terms, to try and reduce the risk of uncertainty. When presented with disputes, we analyse the basis of contract, the breach, the damages claimed and whether an Alternative Form of Dispute Resolution ('ADR') is the most appropriate form of dispute resolution.
Having worked in industry John Eastham is only too aware that cash is the lifeblood of any organisation and wherever possible we operate on a 'no win, no fee agreement'.
Some Questions posed by Clients
Why should I use a Solicitor ? Most people turn to Solicitors when they have already become embroiled in a legal problem. More often than not this is how the cost of unravelling the dispute can become expensive.
Solicitors should be seen as a pro-active resource. We learn from our Clients successes and their unfortunate mistakes. By discussing your requirements we can assist in the reduction of risk involved in any legal venture.
Is it worth it ? More often than not we see individuals who are owed money and have no contractual terms to pursue these. There are however Statutory facilities which can be utilised in order to assist.
